Data we collect
The site may collect information you submit through the form: name, email, company, phone, intended plan and message. Limited technical data may be processed for security, including user agent, timestamp and an irreversible IP-address hash.
Livechat and AI assistant
The livechat processes the name, email address, language, messages and, inside the dashboard, the account identifier in order to provide and follow up support. Questions are sent to the AI provider configured by SellViaApp together with relevant extracts from our knowledge base; passwords, API keys, payment data and confidential exports must never be sent through the chat. SellViaApp retains conversations, response origin and technical usage data for continuity, security and support follow-up. An authorised adviser can take over the conversation.
Pricing localisation
To display the appropriate subscription currency, the server determines only the approximate country and continent from the IP address. It first uses geographic information supplied by the host or content-delivery network and, when necessary, a time-limited encrypted country lookup. SellViaApp keeps only the country and continent codes in the session for twelve hours and does not store the IP address for this purpose. When location is uncertain, pricing remains in USD.
Purposes and legal bases
We use this data to answer your request, prepare your project, protect the form from abuse and secure the site. Processing is based on pre-contractual steps at your request, our legitimate interest in service security and consent where required.
Retention
Commercial requests are retained while they are being handled and for no more than three years after the last contact unless a different legal duty applies. Data identified as spam may be kept for a shorter period.
Recipients and transfers
Data is available only to authorised SellViaApp personnel and necessary technical providers. Where a provider processes data outside your country, appropriate safeguards must govern the transfer.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection or portability. Email info@sellviaapp.com. You may also complain to your supervisory authority.
Mobile app and connected businesses
Inside the app, some data is processed for the business you connect to. Depending on the selected module, it determines the required data: profile, catalogue and order, case and document, field job, appointment or booking. Its own policy may supplement this document.
Shopify connection
When a merchant installs the Shopify connector, SellViaApp processes only the data required for the selected synchronisation: store configuration, products, collections, inventory and, when enabled by the merchant, customers and orders. Shopify passwords are never collected. Technical tokens are encrypted at rest and all transfers use HTTPS.
SellViaApp handles Shopify’s mandatory access and erasure webhooks. An access request creates an encrypted personal export that can be downloaded once and expires after seven days. Customer erasure anonymises the relevant data while preserving necessary accounting references in historical orders. Shop erasure removes Shopify-origin data, mappings and related technical logs. Synchronisation payloads are minimised; webhooks are retained for no more than 90 days, jobs for 30 days, resolved errors for 30 days, and evidence that privacy requests were processed for no more than 400 days.
Installing the connector causes no immediate charge. Every account connected through the public Shopify app selects a Shopify-managed monthly or annual subscription after explicit approval and with a 7-day trial. Catalogue, customer, channel and checkout synchronisation remain locked until Shopify confirms an active subscription.
Wix connection
When a merchant installs the Wix connector, SellViaApp processes site configuration and, depending on enabled options, the categories, products, images, prices, inventory, contacts and order references required for synchronisation. SellViaApp never collects a Wix password. Technical secrets are encrypted at rest and all transfers use HTTPS.
Wix events are signature-verified before entering an idempotent processing queue. Contact synchronisation is optional. A synchronised contact can be redacted when required. On uninstall, the connection is disabled immediately and a privacy job removes Wix-origin data, mappings and associated tokens. Technical events are retained for no more than 90 days and completed jobs for 30 days.
For a paid public app, plan selection and renewals are managed by Wix. Protected connector features remain disabled when Wix does not confirm an active plan.
Security and updates
We apply reasonable access control, encryption in transit, validation and logging measures. This policy may change; the displayed date indicates the latest revision.
